The distillery is where some of the finest Whisky, Gin and Vodka is produced and you can book on to daily tours and tasting sessions. For an extra special experience, book a table in The Bistro and enjoy a tasty lunch or indulge in afternoon tea.

They also have a shop onsite, so you can pick up a bottle of your favourite tipple to take home and enjoy later.

Go kayaking or paddle boarding

This one is an activity for the adventurous couples. Some of the best paddle boarding and kayaking in England can be found in the Lake District and there are companies all across the area where you can hire equipment for a fun day together. Go stargazing

Other great places to view the stars are The Langdale Valley, Wasdale Head, Grizedale Forest, Derwentwater and Borrowdale Valley. Not visible to approx. 80% of the UK, you’ll likely see the Milky Way and at certain times of the year, the Aurora Borealis.
